PLANNING YOUR EVENT
Since the inception of Emancipation Park we have hosted a record number of Concerts, Health Fairs, Walk-a-thons, Exhibitions, etc. These have provided cultural entertainment, education and information to a wide cross section of Jamaicans and Foreign Nationals.
If you are planning to host an event in the Park, please follow these simple steps:
- Download the application form.
- Write a letter addressed to the Park Manager outlining details of your event. It is advisable to include the following information in the letter: date & time of the event, list of performers, list of sponsors (if applicable), method which will be used to promote the event and contact information.
- Submit the completed application form along with your letter to the Park Manager, Emancipation Park, Knutsford Boulevard & Oxford Road, Kingston 5. (Please note that all requests for the use of the Park should be sent in at least one (1) month prior to the actual date of the event. This will allow adequate time for review and approval).
A representative of the Park staff will contact you to inform you of the approval status of your application. Once approved, a meeting will be scheduled prior to the event to discuss the logistics in greater detail.
